What is the Certificate of Completion?
The Certificate of Completion is automatically awarded to students who successfully attend and complete all required sessions of a course. It confirms full participation and successful course completion.
Can I receive a Certificate of Completion for multiple courses?
Yes. Students may receive a Certificate of Completion for each course completed, provided that all required sessions were attended.
Can I continue to the next course without assessment?
Yes. Students may proceed to the next course level without taking the proficiency assessment. Assessment is optional and separate from course progression.
What is the Certificate of English Proficiency?
The Certificate of English Proficiency is awarded to students who pass a formal assessment aligned with CEFR standards. This certification verifies demonstrated language competence.
How is the Grammar Walkthrough proficiency assessment conducted?
Students must pass:
- Writing Examination
- Speaking Examination
- Listening Examination
The examination is conducted by a CoreSpeak teacher who did not handle the student’s course. Afterward, results are reviewed by four additional independent CoreSpeak teachers to ensure objectivity.
How is the Conversational English proficiency assessment conducted?
A topic is randomly selected during the examination, and the student engages in a structured discussion. The assessor is a teacher who was not involved in the student's instruction.
The session is recorded and submitted to four independent assessors for evaluation, ensuring fairness and consistency in grading.
How is assessment integrity maintained?
- Assessment is conducted remotely online.
- Camera must remain on throughout the session.
- Screen sharing is required when applicable.
- No other individual may be present in the room during testing.
Is the Certificate of English Proficiency free?
Yes. Students may take the assessment free of charge upon course completion. Retakes require an additional payment of 60 USD per attempt.
Can I take a B2 assessment without completing the B2 course?
No. Students must complete the corresponding course before taking its proficiency assessment.
If I completed C1 or C2, can I take only the highest assessment?
Yes. Students may take the proficiency assessment for the highest course level they completed, even if they did not take assessments for earlier levels.
